Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
how does your garden grow?
The Morrow County Fair hopes
that each and every one of you
are having a great garden this
year, not onJy a bountiful supp-
ly for your table, pantry and
freezer, but also for the fair.
Go out to your garden, keep
an eye on your fruits and ve-
getables, and bring them to the
fair on Tue day, Aug. 13 from
4-8 p .m . and Wednesday, Aug.
14 from 8-10 a.m . There is also
a lot for "freaks," if you hap-
pen to have anything to enter
under that classification.
Enter Cake Decorating Contest
Do you like to decorate cakes
or even make gingerbread
houses? The Morrow County
Fair has just the classification
for you. On page 46 of the Mor-
row County Fair Premium
Book, you will find the lot for
Decorated Cakes. One will also
find Class K, which is Table
Setting Display. While you are
planning your table setting to
enter in the fair, let your child
from ages seven-13 plan a
" Kid's Party" table setting. It
sounds like fun and a project
that you can do with your
child.
Marlene Gray, superinten-
dent, reminds you to be sure
and call the Morrow County
Fair Office, 676-9474, to reserve
your space.
