The students won the game, which focused on their study of confirmation, the Gospel of St. John and the church's sacra ments. The high school stu dents then joined the defeated parents in a pizza feed. One of these positions will be full-time (40 hrs/wk.) for an eleven (11) week period beginning July 8, 19% and ending September 20, 1996. The other position will also be full-time for the tem porary period listed above, but will rotate into a part-time, 36 hours/month utility Worker position responsible for reading water meters for the months of October, November, March, April, May, and June. The part- time Utility Worker will also work eight (8) hours each weekend (during the non-sum mer work schedule) to perform routine sewer plant operational tasks and provide janitorial ser vices at City facilities. The posi tions will pay $8.25/hour. The positions involve manual labor, which may include the opera tion of motorized yard equip ment, street repair operations, painting, park maintenance, brush clearing, lifting and re moval of litter and debris, and general duties related to out door public works operations. The water meter reader posi tion will require the ability to read meters in a timely and ef ficient manner and to accurate ly read and record meter read ings. Applicants must possess the ability to safely operate motorized yard equipment and follow oral and written instruc tions. Good physical condition is necessary to enable strenu ous tasks outdoors in all types of weather. A valid Oregon drivers license is required. Due to the nature of the work, the State of Oregon, Bureau of Labor and Industries, requires that applicants be 18 years of age or older.
