All Saints' Episcopal Easter morning worship ser vice at All Saints' Episcopal Church will begin at 11:30 a.m. The service will include bap tism, children's sermon and a special children's project. The Reverend A1 Miller's sermon is entitled, "Rolling Away the Obstacles." A reception will be held at the church following the ser vice. First Christian Church Easter Services at the Hepp ner First Christian Church will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a child ren's Easter program. The re gular service will be held at 11 a.m. with a potluck to follow. Hope-Valby Lutheran Parish On Maundy Thursday, the Valby Lutheran congregation, lone, will gather at 6:30 p.m. for the Sunday School's pas sion play entitled, "The Sy camore T ree." The play is un der the direction of Jane Raw lins and special music provid ed by Sarah Carlson. Hope congregation, Hepp ner, will gather at the Lutheran Parsonage on Good Friday, at 6:30 p.m. for a soup supper. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a special worship service center ing on "Parents of the Pas sion." Special guest will be Mary, the mother of Jesus. On Easter Sunday, the com munion service will be held at 8 a.m. at Valby. Sarah Carlson will play the piano and Kyle Carlson will serve as acolyte. The Easter message, delivered by the Reverend Stan Hoobing, will be "Running Around an Empty Tomb," based on the scripture reading of St. John 20:1-18. An Easter breakfast will follow the service. There will be a free will offering for the breakfast to help defray expenses. Hope will have a musical communion service at 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday. The confir mation class, consisting of Jeff Currin, Josh Hill, Kimberly Hansen, Ben Goodyear and Leif Nesse will sing, "Every Morning is Easter Morning," Rachel Hoobing will sing, "Jesus, Lord of AH" and Kent Goodyear will sing, "W e Will Gather at the River." Dr. Soroptimists celebrate 48th birthday time... There were 110 people present for the senior meal Wednes day, March 31, and four meals were home delivered. Paul Werner won the birthday gift and Helen Crawford, the meal ticket. Members of the Episcopal Church served and did dishes. The menu for Wednesday, April 10 will be chef's salad with ham (turkey), olives, tomato, onion and cheese, pasta salad, fruit salad, rolls and cherry cobbler. Members of the Christian Church will serve. The Senior Center Board will meet at 1 p.m. There was one table of cards played Friday afternoon. There was no Sunday movie.
