5 "M ake It Yourself With
Wool" contest held in lone, on
Saturday, Nov. 4. Fifteen par
ticipants in the contest con
structed outfits of at least 60
percent wool, and competed in
four sewing levels: pre-teen,
junior, senior and adult.

man of lone won the pre-teen
division. Christman construct
ed a hunter green and navy
blue plaid jumper. This is the
first time she competed in the
contest and for her efforts, she
won a sheepskin pelt donated
by Krebs Ranches.

Commerce recognizes deserv
ing citizens and a local business
for going above and beyond the
call of duty to give our com
munities that quality of life that
outsiders yearn to be a part of,
said a Chamber spokesperson.
These people are honored at
the annual Town and County
Day, scheduled for Jan. 10.

teers for the annual Chamber
awards, " commented Cham
