Moeller the advantage they
needed to dominate the net.
In the second game, Hepp
ner and Pilot Rock shared
several side-outs. Dickenson
made a save in the back row up
to Moeller at the net and, with
a power spike and kill, gave
Heppner the serve.
Hisler took command with
five straight serves. Pilot Rock
had receiving trouble which
gave Heppner the lead, 8-6.
The Fillies began to struggle
and found the score 8-10.
Moeller had a block at the net
for a side-out, bringing Dicken
son up to serve. Dickenson
served five straight points, with
Moeller and Mindy Binschus
taking total control at the net.
Jessica Sumner helped to put
the game away with a save in
the back court for one point,
then placed a smart tip on the
next play to give Heppner their
final point for game and match.
Overall, the Fillies played ag
gressive volleyball, with each
player doing her part and
showing real team effort, said
a spokesperson for the team.
