A special thanks to Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Home Health and Dr. Jeanne and Dr. Ed. You've made our grief easier to bear. Max Harris Dona and Gene Orwick Lynda and Jim Firth Barb and Mike Orwick ____________________ 9-20-lc We would like to express our gratitude for the staff and facilities of Pioneer Memorial Hospital and Clinic during the recent and separate illnesses of our two younger children. Our choice of your facilities stemm ed primarily from our familiari ty with Drs. Ed and Jeanne Ber- retta and the proximity of PMH to Condon. It is stressful enough for both patient and parent to experience, let alone deal with the distance and often impersonal setting of larger metropolitan settings. It is to the credit of the PMH staff that our family's stays were therapeutically successful, ac comodating and about as "h o m e -lik e " as we can imagine. Heppner has in its midst some very caring and professional people and Morrow County has in its Hospital an asset to be proud of. Our thanks again, to Drs. Berretta, Dr. Atkins and all the Clinic and PMH nurses and staff. Sincerely, Kevin and Eileen Potter ____________________ 9-20-lc I would like to thank the community of Heppner for their generosity while I was a visiting medical student. The patients who allowed me to be a part of their medical exams were truly both generous and helpful. Those visits will help me as I learn to be a physician. Thank you for being a very valuable part of my education. I would also like to thank the staff at Pioneer Memorial Clinic and Hospital for their time and hospitality. Your willingness to share openly will stay with me as I begin my medical educa tion at OHSU. Hopefully this can be just the beginning of many medical school students' visits. Being part of a smaller com munity's health care delivery system was an excellent ex perience for me and I know that future medical school students will enjoy and grow from being welcomed by both patients and staff in Heppner. Again, thank you for your time, energy, thoughtfulness, and for being a part of my medical education. Sincerely, Megan Thygesen ____________________ 9-20-lc A special thanks to everyone for their prayers, cards and food at the time of the loss of our loved one.
