I would like to give a big
thank you to Sam Bellamy for
coaching the Pirates this year.
Sam found the balance of be
ing a coach to all instead of just
a dad to one. Sam seemed to
want the Pirates to play and
win/lose as a team.
We were not sure how the
kids would play this year after
losing their coach George to
cancer. It was a loss I know hit
them all hard. Chip made the
statement that he wanted to
make George proud of himself
and the team. I think they did.
Thank you again, Sam, for
being there for all the kids
through all the season.
Sincerely,
Pam Piper
