"Everything's Coming Up

get the green files put away
and it's time to sell roses. One
thing about it, Chamber gets all
of their non-dues income pro

One dozen long stemmed red
roses are still a bargain at $13.

Delivery day is Wednesday,
April 5. It's a great opportuni
ty to bring a smile to someone's
face, a co-worker, a friend, a
volunteer, your spouse, those
people who make a difference
in your life.
Speaking of green, the St.
Patrick's celebration wrap-up
finalization meeting has been
scheduled for Monday, April
17, exactly one month after the
fact. By that time all expenses
should be accounted for and
the community will have had
an opportunity to evaluate this
years celebration. Many people
worked very hard and are to be
commended for following
through with a job well done.It
isn't possible to think about the
weekend without thinking of
the Taylor family and the loss
for the lone community. Our
hearts go out to this family,
their strength, courage and the
admirable way they've handl
ed their tragedy. They continue
to be in our thoughts and
prayers.
Next week is the chamber
business meeting where all en
tities and organizations are en
couraged to update the mem
bership on what's happening
in Heppner and Morrow
County.
Thought for the week:
"When we are wrong, make us
willing to change; and when
we are right, let us be easy to
live with".
