Grizzlies no match for Cardinals

receive over $300,000 in Job
Training Partnership Act
(JTPA) funds and serve approx
imately 130 youth during the
1995 Summer Youth Employ
ment and Training Program.
Estimated service/funding
levels are based on preliminary
information, pending Congres
sional action on workforce pro
grams and funding availability.
As such, they are subject to

1995 program will begin May 1,
1995 and will serve residents of
Umatilla and Morrow counties.
It will concentrate on basic
skills training, academic enrich
ment activities, work ex
perience, on-the-job training,
limited internship, pre-employ
ment skills training, and job
specific skills training. These
program activities will be pro
vided in various ways, ranging
from classroom settings and
field trips to partnerships with
private and public sector
employers, and school districts.
