The team served 94 percent led by Kim Bedortha with perfect 10 for 10 serving and six points. Melissa McElligott led with 100 percent serve receiv- ing and at the net where she had six kills on 10 for 10 hitting. Suzie Heideman led defensively with two stuffs and Mary Jane McCarty and Becky Wagenblast paced the team in setting. Willow Creek Park Dist. to meet B y A n n e M o rte r The Willow Creek Park District Board of Directors will hold its November meeting in lone on November 9, beginn- ing at 7 p.m. at the lone School Cafeteria. The Willow Creek board is holding meetings at different locations throughout the district, giving local residents a better chance to be heard, said a spokesperson. They reported roadside snow in the mountains. There were 51 flu shots given at the senior center Wed., Oct. 19. One hundred and thirty-two people were present for the senior dinner with three meals sent out. Members of the Methodist Church served. The menu for Nov. 2 will be chicken, potatoes and gravy, vegetable, fruit and roll. Members of the Lutheran Church-will serve. Blood pressures will be taken before the meal, however the hearing aide man will not be here until Nov. 9. The meal site committee will meet following lunch. The Housing Authority meeting will be Tues., Nov. 1, due to Halloween. The tenants will have their usual party in the rec. room with treats for the small children Mon. Oct. 31. The interdenominational Bible study has resumed on Mondays at 10 a.m. in the center office. Quilting is Mon. 1 to 4 p.m. The quilters have just started a new guilt. Everyone is welcome to attend. Other dates to remember: Tues. and Thurs., exercise 10 a.m.; Thurs. knitting 7:30-9 p.m.; Fri., cards, 2 p.m. Five seniors wat ched the weekly movie Sunday evening. Elsie Huston loaned the video, “ Where the Red Fern Grows” . The Senior bus will be going to Condon Nov. 3 for the Col umbia Basin dinner. Fri., Nov. 11, the bus will go to the Pendleton meal site.
