"I saw a lot of coun try," said Lynde, who added that she "s le p t through C hicago." Lynde said she especially enjoyed the Broad way play "M iss Saigon" that the group was able to attend. "All of it was pretty outstan ding," adds Lynde. Around 125 young people were in her group in New York. The group stayed in hotels or motels and meals were provid ed along the way by Odd Fellow and Rebekah lodges, A g o o d w a y to a d v e rtis e y o u r e v e n t 3-R in g D en n iso n t What better way to see America than up close and personal-on the bus. Lynde Minster, the 16 year- old daughter of Rick and Pam Minster, lone, got that chance to see the U.S. when she was selected to join the United Na tions bus tour, sponsored by the Rebekah and Odd Fellow lodges. From July 2 to July 21, Lynde traveled with 42 other kids from the western states who, in addition to learning a lot about their country, became very good friends. The group took six days to travel back east, including a five-hour layover in Rapid Ci ty when the bus broke down. Ironically the bus also broke down in Rapid City on the way back, but that time, the layover was only around two to three hours.
