Divided into six lessons, each
of which takes about a day to
complete, " Quality A s urance
and Animal Care" will be a
voluntary program available to
4-H leaders later thi year, he
notes. The lessons cover animal
handling and safety, feed and
feeding , housing, animal
health and product quality.
"We're trying to get 4-H in-
to the forefront in this area,"
Jeffreys explained "We want
to educate 4-H participants and
