The Morrow County Sheriffs office reports dispatching the following business during the past week: September 21: Morrow Coun ty Sheriffs office dispatched the Heppner ambulance to a two vehicle accident near Ruggs. Four people were transported with injuries to Pioneer Memorial Hospital; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to the high school. One person was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital with an unknown illness; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Spray am bulance to a logging accident on Hwy. 207 near Bull Prairie. One person was transported by private vehicle to Pioneer Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the fire depart ment to the lone High School. Alarm turned out to be false. September 22: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to an animal problem on Kunze Road in Boardman. September 23: Morrow Coun ty Sheriff s office dispatched the Boardman ambulance to a loca tion on Faler Road for a male subject with an illness. Patient was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital; M orrow County deputy responded to the Boardman east bound rest area to assist a person with a lock out; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Condon Rural Fire Dept to a brush fire on Bate’s Road off of Hwy. 206; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a juvenile problem; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area on a report of a family disturbance; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon to take a report of a burglary from William Hoffnagle. Amount of value was unknown. September 24: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to the Board- man area for a report of a family disturbance; Morrow County deputy ar rested Kenneth J. Sicard, 33, Boardman for Violation of a Restraining Order. Sicard posted bail and was released; M orrow County deputy responded to the Olsen Road area near Boardman for a report of an animal problem; * Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Condon am bulance for a female subject with an unknown illness at the Gilliam County Fairgrounds. There was no transport; M orrow County deputy responded to a report of a possi ble assault in the Irrigon area. In vestigation is continuing; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Fossil am bulance to a motor vehicle acci dent on Hwy. 218 mile post 17. One person was transported to Madras. September 25: Morrow Coun ty Sheriff s office dispatched the Boardman Fire Dept, to a grass fire at the west end of Kunze Road Vi mile off of Tower Road; Morrow County deputy ar rested Linda Wilhelm. 36, Lex ington, for Failure to Appear. V E G E T A B L E PLAN With tempting dishes like French onion soup and veg- Roy Harrell, Boardman Police Chief, spoke to the Lexington Grange Monday. Sept. 20 on the police cadet training program. Chief Harrell reported that the cadet program is open to young men and women 14 to 21 years old. The cadets are trained in law enforcement, traffic control and first aid. Cadets ride along with the officers on their patrol, but are not allowed to carry weapons. The cadet program, which originated through the Boy Scouts Explorer Program, is a part of the Blue Mountain Council and has been in operation in Boardman for the past four years. Each year the cadets have traveled to the Tri-Cities for com petition and have done well, reported Chief Harrell. There was no transport. September 27: Morrow Coun ty Sheriffs office dispatched the Fossil EMT’s to Haven House for assistance with a resident; Morrow County Sheriff s of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a motor vehicle acci dent on 1-84, west bound, mile post 159.
