September 11 : Morrow Coun ty deputies responded to the report of a possible intoxicated driver on 1-84, west bound to Boardman. Deputies were unable to locate driver; Morrow County deputy took a report of a stolen row boat. The boat was stolen from property on Penland Lake. Value of the boat was unknown at press time; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Arlington am bulance to a multiple vehicle ac cident on 1-84, mile post 135. Ex tent of injuries were unknown; Morrow County deputy responded to investigate the report of a juvenile problem in Irrigon; Morrow County deputies responded to the report of a two car accident on Bombing Range Road five miles from Hwy. 207. Lexington EMT’s and Heppner ambulance were dispatched. One person was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Severe dust storm had created zero visibility; Morrow County deputies resp- ponded to an alarm at a residence on Ella Road, lone. Alarm turn ed out to be false; Morrow County deputy responded to investigate the report of an object in the road that could be a hazard at Hwy 730, 1-84 west bound interchange. September 12: Morrow Coun ty deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept, with an animal problem; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a Boardman residence for a male with an unknown il lness. Patient was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital in Hermiston; Morrow County deputy responded to a report of child abuse in Irrigon. Call was unfounded; Morrow County deputy began investigation of a report of traf fic problem in Irrigon. Investiga tion is continuing; Morrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area to check out a complaint of a loud motorcycle. September 13: Morrow Coun ty deputy responded to the Board- man area for an animal complaint; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman Fire Dept, to a field fire on Rip- pee Road; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman Ambulance to 1-84 east bound, mile post 177 for a rollover. Two females were transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital with injuries; Morrow County deputy began an investigation into a traffic pro blem in Irrigon; Morrow County deputy responded to assist the Boardman Police Dept, with an unwanted subject at a business in Boardman; Morrow County deputy responded to a one vehicle acci dent in Irrigon. There were no injuries; Morrow County deputy ar rested Francisco Jose, Roa, 40, Irrigon for Driving Under the In fluence of Intoxicants; Morrow County deputy responded to the lone area for a report of three runaway juveniles. Juveniles were located on September 14 and had run away from home. They were 10, 11 and 12 years old. Two were from the same family. They visited their grand mother and Dana’s father Dick Ruhl and Florence Gray. -:-Bob Gray from Creswell was a recent visitor at the home of his sister, Fayle Ruhl. -:-Joe Yocom is at the home again after an interesting trip with the wagon train. He reports a fun but hardworking time. The group were entertained in many places and met some great people mak ing lasting friendships. -:-Ken and Connie Jones were Oregon City visitors, to meet the caravan of covered wagons and to greet a friend Joe Yocom. -:-Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pallock and son Sammy, from Hermiston recently visited at the Faye Ruhl home. Sammy is Faye’s great-grandson. -:-Lexington Grange will meet on Monday, Sept. 20 for the regular meeting and potluck din ner. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7:30.
