This reflects a straight A report in all courses taken by the student. Sixty-four students qualified for the President's list by attain ing a GPAS of 3.85 or higher. One hundred eight students qualified for the Dean’s list by receiving a GPA of 3.4 to 3.85. One hundred eleven students qualified for the winter term honor roll bv receiving a GPA of 3. to 3.49. To earn a position on any of the three lists, a student must carry a fulltime load of classes which translates to 12 graded credit hours. Oregon State University Rochelle Neal, Boardman, qualified for the scholastic honor roll winter term at OSU. A freshman in business, Neal earn ed a 3.5 or better. Neal was initiated into Phi Eta Sigma, a national scholastic honor society. To be eligible freshmen have to achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average. Eastern Oregon State College Eastern Oregon State College in LaGrande has announced that 242 students were named to the winter term dean’s list. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 with 12 graded credit hours. Local students named to the list include: Casey Pedro, Echo. W estern Oregon State College A total of 197 students have been named to the president's list and another 521 students have been named to the honor roll for winter term at Western Oregon State College. Hadley has completed the strategic electrical and environm ental systems specialist course at Chanute Air Force Base. Students were taught the prin ciples o f operation and troubleshooting of strategic air craft electro-environm ental systems, subsystems, com ponents, wiring and soldering. Also included were the principles of aircraft maintenance manage ment systems, and use of test equipment. Examples of strategic aircraft are the B-l and B-52 bombers, the KC-135 refueling tanker and the U-2 recon naissance aircraft. He is a 1992 graduate of River side High School and is the son of Chester Hadley, Irrigon and Kristan Rachau, West Linn. PUBLIC NOTICE Community Action Program of East Central Oregon (CAPECO) is currently planning the Program Year (PY) 1993-1994 Job Train ing Plan. CA PECO received over $953,000 in Job Training Part nership Act (JTPA) funds and served over 450 participants dur ing the last two-year Job Train ing Plan. Total funding for the PY ‘93 is expected to be $589,000. The total number of participants to be served is ex pected to be 205. The Program Year(PY) 1993-94 Job Training Plan will take effect July 1, 1993. Program s will focus on classroom training, on-the-job training, work experience, and job search training leading to un subsidized employment. These program activities will be provid ed in various ways utilizing local agencies, private sector employers, school districts, as well as in-house career guidance and pre-employment training.
