Adults Last week I lost a very very special grandmother who was 96. It was time but that doesn’t necessarily make it easier; however, wonderful memories will keep her ‘alive’ for many years to come. These loses make one think about the kinds of memories they will be leaving behind, who will be remember ing what, and most important do we really have our priorities in order, those priorities that remain in hearts and keep memories alive. Food for thought as we look closely at our day to day business. Senator Wes Cooley held a conference call with the chamber membership this week. This is an opportunity for the membership to stay in touch with our decision makers and to ask questions one- on-one. These calls will be ongo ing with the next scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, noon at the Elks. Chamber received a letter from a man in Ranier, Oregon who had a Heppner “ sheepskin dollar” in his possession. He is compiling information on unusual monies and is interested in the history behind our “ sheepskin dollars” . (Maybe it’s time to think about this for a St. Patrick’s celebra tion?) He is interested in purchas ing additional sheepskin if anyone has some on hand. St. Patrick’s brochures are “ hot off the press” . Posters are also available.
