Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, October 28, 1992 - ELEVEN Tack, clothing swap sale Letters to the Editor Fels has distinguished career To the Editor: I’m writing to endorse the can didacy of Judge Peter Fels for district court. Judge Fels has distinguished himself by providing stiffer sentences for drunk drivers and by insisting that victims be allow ed to testify at every sentencing. Judge Fels comes from a long term of public service working in the Legal Aid office. He understands the plight of low- income single mothers and strug gling senior citizens as they move through the legal system. Judge Fels has the depth of character and experience to pro vide many years of progressive service to the citizens of our area. Please join me in supporting Judge Peter Fels. Sincerely, (s) John Brenne Pendleton Continue the Tradition C olumbia B asin E lectric C ooperative , I nc . 48 t h The Two-Trackers will spon sor a swap-sale of tack and attire on Sunday, Nov. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the 4-H annex building at the fairgrounds.
