Mr. Anhorn died September 16, 1992 in San Fran cisco, CA. J.B. Anhorn was bom July 8, 1949 to Carl William and Irene Anhorn of Central Point. He at tended Central Point schools and graduated from Crater High School in 1967 where he was stu dent body president. He was with the U.S. Army for a short period when he received a medical discharge and attend FOR SALE: ed the University of Oregon. He worked as manager of Anhorn-Faber Insurance Com pany and was a member of Cen tral Point Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. He moved to California where he worked for several companies. Survivors include his mother Irene Anhorn of Heppner; brothers William of Salem, Jef frey of San Jose, CA. and Michael of Central Point; and a sister Catherine Christensen of Pilot Rock. He was preceded in death by his father C.W. Anhorn. Floyd Albert Borman Floyd Albert Borman, 84, formerly of Lexington, passed away Sept. 19, 1992 in Albur- querque, New Mexico. Funeral services will be Thurs day, Sept. 24, 1992 at 2 p.m. at Grays West and Co., in Baker Ci ty. Interment will be in Mount Home Cemetery. Mr. Borman was born Nov. 22, 1908 at Whitney and spent his childhood and school years in Whitney. He worked as a mechanic and welder for Morris & Knudsen Co., in California for many years. He returned to the Pendleton area where he did mechanical work until his retire ment. He lived in Lexington after his retirement and he worked several years for the Lexington Water Co. He loved square dan cing and followed them until health reasons had forced him to quit. Survivors include: two sons, Calvin, Sandia Park, NM and Wayne of Hermiston; daughter Roberta Borman Hughes, Umatilla; brother Louis H of Baker City; sister. Myrtle C. Hacker, Baker City and five grandchildren. Margaret H. Lindley Graveside funeral services were held for Margaret Hope Lindley Sept. 21, 1992 at Canyon City Cemetery. A memorial ser vice was held earlier today. Mrs. Lindley, 66, of lone, died Friday, Sept. 18. 1992 at her home. She was born July 24, 1926 at Caldwell, Idaho, to Marian and Marie Francis. She was employed at Ellingson and Edward Hines lumber com panies before becom ing postmaster at Seneca, a post she held for 10 years before moving to lone where she also served as postmaster. She served as an officer and member of the National and State Association of Postmasters and had served on the school board and city council at Seneca. Survivors include sons, Jim and Ben, both of John Day and Zane o f K im berly, Idaho; daughter, Christy Dugan of Kingston, WA.; brothers, Gor don Francis and Lawrence Fran cis, both of Seneca. September 16: Morrow Coun ty deputy took a report from Gene Peterson in Irrigon. A pickup window and bam window were broken out. Amount of value for both was between $ 125 and $ 150; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon to in vestigate suspicious circumstances; M orrow County deputy responded to Irrigon to do a re- quested welfare check. September 17: Morrow Coun- ty Sheriff s office dispatched the Boardman ambulance to a motor vehicle accident on 1-84 west- bound mile post 166. One male was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital with injuries; M orrow County deputy responded to a trespassing com- plaint in the lone area. Call was unfounded; M orrow County deputy responded to the Irrigon area for a juvenile problem; Morrow County Sheriffs of- fice dispatched the Boardman Fire Dept to 1-84 eastbound mile post 158 for a vehicle fire. September 18: Morrow Coun- ty deputy responded to Irrigon to handle an animal complaint; Morrow County Sheriffs of- fice dispatched the Boardman am- bulance to a one vehicle roll over on 1-84 west bound, mile post 151.5 One male was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital with unknown injuries; Morrow County Sheriffs of- fice dispatched the Mitchell Fire Dept, to a vehicle fire on Highway 26 mile post 72; Morrow County Sheriff s of- lice dispatched the Condon Fire Dept, to a grass fire in Condon near the Post office; Morrow County deputies in- vestigated a report of a prowler at a residence in Irrigon. September 19: Morrow Coun- ty deputy assisted Umatilla Police Dept with a traffic stop: Morrow County Sheriffs of- fice dispatched the Arlington am- bulance to a motor vehicle acci- dent on 1-84 westbound mile post 131. Two people were transported to Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles; M orrow County deputy assisted the Heppner Police Dept with a juvenile problem; Morrow County Sheriff s of- fice dispatched the Condon Rural Fire Dept for a grass fire north of Gwendolyn; Morrow County Sheriff s of- fice dispatched the Boardman am- bulance to a Boardman residence for a female with an unknown il- Iness. Patient refused transport; Morrow County deputy in vestigated a report of careless drivers; M orrow County deputy assisted the Boardman Police Dept with a warrant arrest; M orrow County deputy responded to the Boardman area for a landlord/tennant dispute. Dispute turned out to be a civil matter; Morrow County deputy assisted in trying to locate a lost animal. Deputy was unable to locate animal. September 20: Morrow Coun ty Sheriff s office dispatched the Fossil ambulance to Haven House for a female with an unknown il- Iness. One female was transported to Mid Columbia Medical Center; M orrow County deputy responded to an Irrigon residence to investigate a juvenile problem. Investigation is continuing; Morrow County deputy in vestigated a report of a suspicious vehicle at the westbound Board- man rest area. Problem was resolved; Morrow County Sheriffs of fice dispatched the Boardman am bulance to a Oregon Hay located outside of Boardman for a man with an unknown illness. One male was transported to Good Shepherd Community Hospital; Morrow County deputy in vestigated the report of an assault in Irrigon; Morrow County deputy began an investigation of a possible assault in the Irrigon area. PUBLIC NOTICE HEPPNER RANGER DISTRICT MOTORIZED TRAVEL AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT PLAN The Heppner Ranger District is now implementing the Motoriz ed Travel and Access Manage ment Plan on a portion of the District. This plan was designed to pro tect resources, safeguard users and minimize conflicts of use in different management areas and on roads and trails in the Forest.
