Along with Landis, Bruce Kimsey will provide additional thrills with his bull fighting skills. The Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo will have $1000 added purse money per each event. These events and sponsors are: Juvenile hospitalized following shooting A shooting incident in Heppner on Thursday, Aug. 13, resulted in a 14-year-old juvenile being struck in the face with a bullet, apparently fired from a .22 caliber pistol, according to Mor row County District Attorney Jeff Wallace. People for the pool are seeking baked food items for the sale and volunteers for the food tables and cotton candy sales. Charges have been filed against another juvenile in connection with the incident, said Wallace. No hearing date on the petition has been set, he said. HHS yearbook signing Sept. 3 The Heppner High School yearbook signing party has been scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Heppner High School Cafeteria. Gardner’s and Kinzua to sponsor saddles been active in student council as the junior class president and was selected as a homecoming princess in 1991. Last year as the vice president of the Heppner FFA chapter she attended the na tional FFA convention in Kansas City. She is also on the varsity FFA judging team and she attain ed the Star Chapter Farmer degree. As an active 4-H’er, she has participated at fairs with her horse and sheep and with tole painting projects. While this year she is concentrating on court duties, she plans to enter the barrel racing at the Morrow County show. It is an event that she has participated in at the Wrangler Riding Club playdays. Kinzua Corporation will be sponsoring a Crates trophy sad dle that will be awarded this weekend to the Morrow County Amateur Calf Roping Champion. 1992 marks the 43rd year Kin- zua has sponsored the saddle. Kinzua invites all past winners to ride horseback with their saddles or ride on the float Kinzua will enter in the parade to honor the winners.
