Kelsie Evans was reserve champion. Char Coe took champion junior performance horse, Stephanie Skultety, reserve champion; Ron di Robinson was champion high point rider and Casey Evans reserve high point rider. Bridgett McElligott opened the program with the 4-H Pledge. Jo Ann Kock, fair judge and extension agent from Sher- man County, shared tips and guidelines that will help members impress judges. Lorraine Ladd celebrates birthday Richard and Sylvia Ladd were hosts to a lovely birthday party honoring their mother Lorraine Ladd at The Office in lone on Sunday afternoon, July 5. The afternoon was spent visiting, with coffee, cake and punch being served. The cake was a heart- shaped creation decorated with red and blue flowers. Those pre sent were Birdine Tullis, Loree Hubbard, Rose Baker, Rikka Tews, Eunice McElligott, Helen Martin, June Crowell, Delpha Jones, Wilma Martin from Con don, the host and hostess and a friend Greg from Boise, Id. Sylvia has been visiting at the home of her mother and brother for several days from her work in Boise. A special raffle for “ super” prizes will be held as well as a white elephant table. Proceeds will be used for financing the picnic. Those attending should bring potluck food and their own table service.
