Washington State University has announced that Todd Sherer, lone, has earned a doctor of philosophy degree in pharmacology and tox- icology during the 1991 summer session. Holly Rebekah elects officers By Delpha Jones Holly Rebekah Lodge met on Thursday evening, Oct. 24 for the regular meeting with NG Kathy Tellechea presiding. The main business of the evening was the elec tion of officers with the following elected: NG Kathy Tellechea; VG Leila Palmer; •; secretary-Delpha Jones; treasurer-Virginia Peck; and three-year trustee-Annetta Padberg. The group has three new members to be initiated at Pauline Lodge in Pendleton Thursday, Nov. 7 where they will be given the degree. This will start with a potluck dinner and all Rebekahs are invited. The follow ing meeting will be Nov. 21 and will be the Thanksgiving dinner for all Rebekahs, Oddfellows and families. The Lexington Oddfellows met recently for the purpose of election of officers and to complete the plans for roofing the hall. The election found the following elected to take office: NG Robert Taylor; VG Ed Murty; secretary-Lyle Peck; and treasurer-C ecil Jones. These members meet the same night as the Rebekahs and will join them on Nov. 21 for the annual Thanksgiving din ner and meeting. Boys and girls fourth grade and older, who like the outdoors are in vited to participate in a new 4-H out door club. Club members will par ticipate in various outdoor activities selected by the members and as well as indoor activities preparing them and will have a chance to work for their hunter’s safety and first aid cards. An organization meeting will be held at Kate’s Pizza, Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. Another 4-H club, a crafts group for girls 4th grade and up will have an organizational meeting Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. at Kate’s.
