AS Oth* Expenditures and Requirements lone Drama Club presents ‘Daughters’ By Anne Morter The lone High School Drama Club presented one of its most uni que theatrical events last Sunday evening when it staged "Daughters” . The play, which usr ed different staging and an entirely different format from other lone pro ductions, was a series of monologues dealing with the problems teenagers face today. Stars of “ Daughters” were Tanya Anderson, Crystal Minster, Kari Morgan, Danielle Stefani, Heidi Orem, Heidi Nelson, Nancy Morter and Erika Bergstrom. Drama Club Advisor Jim Raible, said he considered the production a success because it showed “ new and different things to the kids and to the community” where theater is con cerned. “ I liked it because it was dif ferent. The script had the potential to be powerful,” said Raible. He said the monologues covered serious, up-to-date topics. “ It was real life people dealing with real life issues,” he said. “ Daughters” , written by Maya Levy, will be Raible’s final produc tion at lone as he has resigned his position there. a ToW Unappropriated Ending Fund Balanca . . , 9. The grounds included in the contract will be: The County Courthouse, Courthouse An nex. and Museum in Heppner; North Morrow Annex, Irrigon; the Public Works grounds in Lexington; and lawn care for Cutsforth and Anson Wright Parks. The work is to include asphalt paving of 3.9 miles of Bombing Range Road. Pav ing is to be 28 feet in width and 4 inches in thickness, placed in two (2) successive 2 inch layers. Morrow County will furnish all aggregate for asphalt mix. The contract will provide the op tion of three (3) locations of ag gregate for the asphalt paving mix, to be listed as Site A, Site B or Site C.
