The funeral was Wednesday, May 29 at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Heppner. Concluding ser vice and vault interment was at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery. One of seven children, she was bom Dec. 14, 1901 at Weston to Joe and Ruth Harbour Key. She attend ed LaM arr School and later graduated from W eston High School. She attended the Normal School at Monmouth for two years and returned to the Weston area where she taught school on Reed and Hawley Mountain, Birch Creek School near Pendleton and at Union. On June 1, 1930, she married Clarence Rosewall at Weston. They lived at Union where she ran the hotel and later moved to Walla Walla. In 1938 the Rosewalls moved to Heppner where they opened up a Ford dealership, Rosewall Motors, which they operated for many years. After their retirement in 1962 they remained in Heppner. Mrs. Rosewall was active in civic affairs. She was involved in the Democratic Party, the Ruth Locust Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, in Heppner; the Lady Elks; the bridge club; and was actively involved in her church, the All Saints Episcopal Church. Her husband died in 1975. Mrs. Rosewall enjoyed tatting, needlepoint, knitting and crocheting. She moved to Pendleton in 1986 and later to Milton-Freewater to be near her family. Surviving is a brother. Grant Key of Weston; two nieces, Mrs. Jeff Granella Thompson, Weston and Corinne Moore, Anaheim, CA.; one nephew, David VanWinkle, Los Alamitos, CA. Two brothers and three sisters died earlier. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pioneer Memorial Hospital through Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862. Edmond E. Gonty Edmond E. Gonty, 77, Heppner, died Sunday, May 26, 1991 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner. Memorial services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hepp ner on Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. Mr. Gonty was bom March 27, 1914 at Heppner to Edward Nicholas and Ellen Virginia Marlatt Gonty. He grew up at Heppner and attend ed local schools, graduating from Heppner High School. He began working at his father’s shoe business at an early age and later took over operation of the store, adding radios and appliances. He ran the store until his retirement in 1978. On July 4, 1936, he married Eleanor A. Hemrich at Beaverton. Mr. Gonty was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Hepp ner BPOE 358. He served on the Heppner City Council for 12 years. Survivors include his wife, at the home; sons, Raymond of Seattle, WA., Thomas of Heppner and Charles Douglas of Temple Hills, MD. . daughter E. Virginia Blevins of Ukiah; brother Thomas L. of Ed monds. WA.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Pioneer Memorial Hospital, P.O.
