You guys did an outstanding job. Special thanks to the Heppner Fire department for standing by in Lex ington, making it possible for the Lexington Fire department to res pond, and to the lone First R esponder vehicle. We appreciate our neighbors and family who came to our aid and of fered Carl and I a place to stay, and a shoulder to lean on during the fire. Since our fire the United Way, the Neighborhood Center, various chur ches, organizations and individuals have provided clothes, food, money and other items. We are truly grateful for the love and caring this community has shown us. Our fire created a total loss, but we can see how blessed we are to have our lives and to live in a community such as ours.
