Coach Del LaRue said that
Cascade Locks is a good hustling
ball club that made the Cards work
hard. They effectively shut off the
middle on the Cards, said LaRue.
“ We shot well overall,” added
LaRue, noting that Gabe Garcia
knocked in five for nine from three-
point land and shot 50 percent
overall. Mike Garrett was six of
eight from the floor for 75 percent
and Deacon Heideman was four of

against only one loss, makes their
season record 16-3 and will send
Heppner into the district tournament

scored for Heppner in the 31-point
fourth quarter and the final score
wasn’t an indication of the closeness

the field and 7-10 from the line, for
22 points. Devin was high with
seven rebounds also.

Dowdy.

see at District in two weeks and it
will be good to have them so fresh
in our minds.”
