On Nov. 27 they played Mac-Hi, losing by nine points, 32-41. The first half was close with neither team able to penetrate and make very many points. At half-time the score was Mac-Hi. 20, Heppner 13. In the second half Karlee Thunnell of Mac-Hi got hot and nothing the Fillies did could slow her down. Thunnell made 13 out of her total 15 points in the third quarter. Heppner fought back in the fourth quarter to hold Mac-Hi to six more points but couldn’t score enough to catch up, losing 32-41. Senior Nikki Brisbois of Heppner led the Fillies with eight rebounds, five steals and three assists while senior Amy Greenup was high scorer with 10 points..
