Morrow youths eligible for State Fair staff Older 4 H members interested in High school age 4-H members from Morrow County arc eligible to be considered for one of the teen staff positions at the Oregon State Fair, according to Bill Broderick. Oregon State University Extension agent Between 25 and 30 4 H members will be selected to assist with 4-H ac tivities ami programs at the big Salem show, Broderick said Assignments for teen staff members can be as short as day one or as long as five days, depending upon the job they arc asked to per form ami their own schedule, udds Brad Jefferies. By Jocsie Evans, Reporter Horses Etc. held a riding meeting at the fairgrounds on April 8 Our Junior leader, Trisha Coe demonstrated haltering and bridling the horse We also worked on showmanship and practiced our leads Cindcc Henderson our leader encouraged us to practice at home On May 6. Horses Elc had a 4 H riding meeting at I p m at the fairgrounds We worked on our showmanship and individual horsemanship patterns There was a good turnout of members as we ure preparing for the 4-H tune-up show June 17. Our next meeting will he June 10.
