April 29. an ambitious crew o f volunteers headed up by Ben Corbin gathered at W illow Creek Lake to sun work on the han dicap and senior citizen access project Several w eeks ago, project •'Please Don’t Fence Us Out " was gathenng signatures to send to the Corps o f Engineers asking their assistance in this project. Cart McDaniel, Jim Dunbar and Earl and Charlene Papineau, com mitlee members drew up a plan and with the signatures o f 200 citizens o f Heppner, sent the letter to the Corps Terry Armentrout.
