Padhcrg paced the Mustangs in the
third quarter scoring 11 points as
Heppner s lead grew hy three over
the Redvides
The Mustangs closed the door on
Wasco Ciainly the final penod, scor­
ing 23 points and in doing so won
their third CBC game
Padhcrg lit up the score hoard
scoring 32 points and also getting
five steals Russell Brin dished out
10 assists while Dick Devin pulled
down nine rebounds for the v ic ­
torious Mustangs

84-53 at Riverside

Pirates as they ended the first quarter
leading hy one point and maintain
cd their lead in the second period
with a 29-28 halftime advantage
Heppner Freshmen woke up to
start the third period with a swarm­
ing defense that enabled them to
build a 53-37 advantage after three
quarters o f play.

teams played in the high school gym
The “ B“ team hoys were the first
to play and they played well,
defeating the Um atilla 7th grade
hoys 51-25. Their undefeated season
is still alive at 5-0.

also jum ping out to a 10 point lead
early and hanging on to win hy a
score o f 22 18 Their record improv-

The 7th grade girls, who earlier in
the year defeated Umatilla 7th grade
girls, did it again 25-12, bringing
their season record to 5-1

five o f his 13 points this quarter He
also pulled down eight rebounds to

Dustin Padhcrg was unstoppable
in the third quarter as he racked up
eight points and grabbed 12 game re
bounds Kyle Broderick added seven
points, including a three point shot
