Marge Kenny, Heppner, was selected by her fellow employees as the Pioneer Memorial Hospital employee of the year for 1908 Marge is being presented a plaque by Ernest Wick, hospital administrator and was also given a dinner at the V and G Restaurant and Lounge as part of her award Marge received her training as an R N at St Anthony train ing school, Pendleton in 1953 Marge and her husband Bill have 7 children, one son still at home Marge has been working at PMH for 17 consecutive years ' ,». •. • • Lighting contest winners announced • • • • lone took the Riverside Pirates in to overtime in their win Tuesday. December 13. 40-36 The lone Cardinals took the lead in the first quarter to challenge the Pirates to a battle Their attack was led by Amy Wagcnblast with s u points Wagcnblast was the Lady Cards leading scorer with 11 points She also led lone in rebounding pull ing down 10 lone was only out scored in one quarter, hut it was substantial enough to give the Pirates a two point lead up until three seconds left in the 4th quarter The score was lone 32.
