Oregon The Finale Sale is located in por lions of T 3S., R 28E and T 3S,, R 29E . W M surveyed. Alternative A salvages 1.05 MMBF of insect killed lodgepole pine while maximizing potential for wood fiber production on 66 acres Big game and livestock access is also maintained on 66 acres while big game disturbance is temporary and scattered over a wide area Sale ac tivities and hunter conflicts are also minimized Alternative B is the "N o Action" alternative This means no salvage at this time and precludes future salvage as the material will have deteriorated Fiber production will remain below potential Sixty-six acres will receive little use by big game and livestock as access will be blocked by down, jackstrawed lodgepole pine With no harvest ac tivity there would be no disturbance to big game and no conflict between sale activity and rifle elk hunters Based on the Environmental Analysis.
