Morrow County deputy assisted Oregon State Pi dice with an accident investigation M orrow County Sheriff s Office also dispatched the Hoard man ambulance to milepost 172. 144. Dec 6 Momiw County Sheriff s Deputy hegan the investigation into a theft in the hoardman area Miss ing is a S75 battery from a truck belonging to Fredrickson Farms. Dec 7 Morrow County deputy assisted a female with an unknown illness from Irrigon, Morrow County deputy respond ed to a traffic hazard An auger was in (he road in the lone area. Dec 9 Morrow County deputy assisted Oregon State Police with an arrest for Povsession of a Controll ed Substance. Morrow County deputies respond ed to report of a house alarm at Lstegaard Estates near Boardman; Morrow County deputies hegan investigation of report of criminal mischief in (he Boardman area Dec 10 Morrow County deputy backed up Boardman Police Depart ment with report of possible fight in progress at a gathering m the city limits Suspects were not located Dec 11 Morrow County deputy reovered a vehicle stolen out of the Redmond area Boardman Police department hacked up deputy in the arrest of Joseph T Craven, 24, The Dalles for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle Craven was also charged for Driving While Suspend ed Subject was lodged. Morrow County Sheriff s Office dispatched the Boardman ambulance to Desert Springs Estates. One juvenile was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital with unknown illness Dec 12 During the week of December 5-12. Interment followed at Sky view Memorial Park. Pendleton Noah. 62. of Irngon, died Mon day. Dec 5. 1988. at St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla He was bom Feb 23, 1926, in O nn, Wash . and came to Irrigon from Spokane in 1985. Noah had been employed as a civil en g in eer for the W ashington Highway Department, retiring in 1981 He served with the U S Army during World War II Noah was a member of the Umatilla Baptist Church, the NRA. Independent Order of Foresters and the heparlment of Transportation Retirees Survivors include his wife, Esther, at the home, sons. Rodney of Chat- tero y . Wash , Keith o f New Plymouth. Idaho, and Ken of Mom, daughters. Roberta G ilm er o f Ijoomis, Wash and Unda (Mrs George) Calvert of Irngon, brother Kendall of Spokane, 16 grand children and two greai grandchildren and one great grandchild died earlier.
