October 13 The Huskies opened strong scor ing within the first 30 seconds of the game lone came back to score on a 25 yard pass run from Sean W ar ren to Dustin Padherg Sherman scored late in the first quarter mak mg die score lone 8. Sherman Coun ty 16 Second quarter scoring was com pletely dominated by the Huskies They scored three tunes to end the score at half time lone 8. Sherman County 40 lone came back strong in the third quarter with junior Rob Wilson returning (lie Husky kickoff 80 yards for a Cardinal touchdown Both defenses played strong as possession changed hands three con secutive tunes lone's Mike McBride f ' ! ••• recovered a Sherman County fum ble. Sherman recovered an lone fumble, then Padherg intercepted a Husky pass The Cardinals lost the hall on a bad punt snap recovered by Sherman) setting up a three yard Husky touchdown Sherman ended the third quarter scoring once agauvleaving the final third quarter score at lone 16. I By Michelle Papmeau Thursday, Oct 13 the lone High School lad y Cardinals hosted the Sherman County Huskies and the Helix Grizzlies m volleyball play lone opened the evening playing the Grizzlies lone took the lead 8-0 with good total team play Mary Cupps had seven in a row serving with the Grizzlies only able to return two The lady Cards had 1001 serving to help them win the first game 15-9.
