Levy For Payment ot Bunded l>ebt Published Jun«* 10. 1987 P U B L IC N O T IC E Heppner Public Pool The pool staff would like to welcome you lo another season o f swim nt ing We are looking forward (o w orking w ith (he public in making the sum mcr heat a little more bearable Along w ith our invitation we have listed (he pool rules (hat all swimmers w ill follow w hile at (he ptnil area Please save these rules and consider them as preventive measures, that w ill make the summer more enjoyable 1 No individual shall use the pool unless the pool is o ffic ia lly OPEN and instructors or lifeguards arc on duty. 2 A b vilu ie ly no food. gum. drinks, tobacco or glass oh|ccts in dressing rooms o r at pool side 3 A ll persons using pool must observe all posted health and salcty rcgula Dons Persons w ith communicable infection or open cuts and sores w ill be denied pool access 4 Swimmers must be attired in sw im m ing suits or gym shorts Cut offs may be allowed i f they arc hemmed and clean 5. No band aids or bandages allowed in pool area 6 No talking unnecessarily to lifeguard w hile on duty 7 No playing on or around ladders and lifeguard chairs 8 No running on pool deck 9 No rough housing or undue disturbances that w ill endanger other swimmers. 10 No dangerous toys, footballs, fri/bce s, or small balls allowed during swim m ing hours. 11 D ivin g rules No back dives or any kind o ff the pttol edge No flips o f any kind from the side o f the pool No running dives from side o f the pool No swim m ing in area o f diving boards No more than one individual on divin g bxtard at a time No more than one bounce on hoard per dive No hanging on the divin g hoard 12 No hanging on the safely rope 13. Non swimmers or weak swimmers must remain in the shallow end 14 To he able to swim in the deep end a swimm er must be able to swim tw o widths and jum p into six (6) feet o f water and tread fo r one minute 13 Individuals are not allowed in pool after consumption o f intoxicating substances 16 The pool may he cleared and/or closed at the discretion o f the lifeguard in case o f an accident, drow ning, severe weather conditions, etc 17 In d ivid u a l' violating the above rules w ill he first warned, if warning is ignored swimmers w ill he asked to leave fo r the remainder o f the day Parents w ill he notified it swimmers are removed fo r more than one day Repeated o fie n d e u may be removed fo r the rest ot :•*** summer.
