the pool rules that all swimmers will follow while at the pool area Please
save these rules and consider them as preventive measures, that will nuke
the summer more enjoyable
1 No individual shall use the pool unless the pool is officially OPEN
and instructors or lifeguards arc on duty.
2 Absolutely no h*»d. gum. drinks, tobacco or glass ob|ccts in dressing

T All persons using pool must observe all posted health and safety rcgula
lions Persons with communicable infection or open cuts and sores will he
denied pool access
4 Swimmers must he attired in swimming suits or gym shorts Cut off*

6 No talking unnecessarily to lifeguard while on duty
7 No playing on or around ladders and lifeguard chairs
8 No running on pool deck
9 No rough housing or undue disturbances that will endanger other

10 No dangerous toys, footballs, frizbccs. or small halls allowed during
swimming hours
11 Diving rules
No hack discs or any kind off the pool edge
No flips of any kind from the side o f the pool
No running dives from side o f the pool
No swimming in area o f diving hoards
No more than one individual on diving hoard at a time
No more than one bounce on hoard per dive
No hanging on the diving board
12 No hanging on the safety rope
13. Non-swimmers or weak swimmers must remain in the shallow end
14 To he able to swim in the deep end a swimmer must be able to swim
two widths and tump into six (6) feet o f water and tread for one minute
15 Indiv iduals arc not allowed in pool after consumption of intoxicating
substances
16 The pool may be cleared and/or closed at the discretion of the lifeguard
in sase o f an accident, drowning, severe weather conditions, etc.
17. Individuals violating the above rules will he first warned, if warning
is ignored swimmers will he asked to leave for the remainder o f the day.
Parents will he notified if swimmers are removed for more than one day
Repeated offenders may he removed for the rest of the summer.
