swept Heppner s golf team in mat
chcs held April 16 at the Willow
Creek Country Club
Riverside won the boys match
302-304 in an 18-hole event while
the Riverside girls won 201-213 in
nine holes.
Heppners teams did claim two
minor victories though with a
194-200 win in nine holes for the
junior varsity boys while two Hepp
ner hoys defeated two Riverside girls

Jason Michael of Riverside shot a
70 to cam boys medalist honors
while Dan Strothers paced Heppner
by firing a 77.

Harold was pleased to be asked to
help w ith some computer updates for
the Senate since he has some ex
perience on the same computer
system used there

Competing against Class "A A " ,
" A " and " B " schools in cold and
windy weather, Hcppncr's hoys
placed fifth with 35 points while the
Heppner girls did not score

County Invitational a week earlier
over Heppner, was first in the boys
race with 85 points while Class
" AA-' Vale won the girls team com
petition with 77 points
