ner gardener» held their club's
regular Augu»t monthly meeting

Monday evening of each month

Doherty , secretary
Thi» year'» Floriculture Division
will feature new varieties of flowers
and plants It was announced that for
the first time an experienced, guest
flower arranger will exhibit some of
her work Connie Tollefxon. a
former District 10 president, will
display a very modem artistic design
(flower arrangement) which she will
create at her home in Milton-
Freewater This arrangement will
feature the fair's theme "ToMorrow
- Tday "
It was stressed that three named
arrangements in the new Novice
Class are intended to encourage
beginners to display artistic flower
designs The larger Amateur Class
with 14 titles for arrangements in
eludes wreaths of fresh or dried
materials
An interesting contest set for Fri
day afternoon will have folks com
pete in creating arrangements on the
spot A qualified judge will award
prizes of $4. $3, and $2
