Rhode Island, has worked as an ar list in residence in the schtiols for six years She was hired, she says, because she is an artist, not because she is a teacher "W hen I was first hired as an ar tist in residence. I hardly knew what a kid w a s," she says, "but I know what art is. at least my idea of it. but I had an idea.
