Junior Bowling program This last
weekend, along with Cyde Skroch,
Cathie Pointer. Cindi Hudson, and
Rick Paullus. they accompanied 24
boys and girls to Grants Pass for the
Oregon Stale Young American
Bowling Association Tournament

PAC groups have been given in the
news lately, no doubt Senator
Packwood wishes Oregon voters
would somehow forget about his
huge war chest of millions and the
fact that dHT of his supjvort comes
from these out-of state interest
According to many. PAC groups
threaten to poison our nation s
political system Senator Hart of
Colorado recently told the Senate
"It seems the only group without a
well heeled PAC is the average
citizen the voter who has no spec ial
interest beyond low taxes, an cfli
cient government, an honorable
Congress and a humane society
Those arc the demands we should be
heeding, but those are the demands
that PACs have drowned out

campaign funds to congressmen who
will push their homosexuality
