Washing ton. she preceded him in death in 1978 He continued to operate his ranches in Heppner until 1948 In 1941 he moved to Fortland where he worked for M Kuoter and Sons, a metal fabrication firm , and retired in 1964 He was a life member >67 y ea rs > of the Heppner B F O K Lodge No 358 Survivors in< lude one son.
