Irene Swanson and Justine W eatherford' returneif just over four days later somewhat wiser • >ut not much richer The Heppner group joined a larger group at Hermiston, a couple at Stanfield and the largest numta-r of senior travelers at Kendleton to travel on by bus which was under charter to SCKAM Senior Citizens Roaming Around the M ap' lad tie Vaught, Hertniston. was the tour escort The trip southward was routed through Baker Ontario and Wmneimicca Coming homeward we traveled via Susanville Altural Klamath Falla Bawl and Biggs In Nevada the tour package was supervised by la-w Hardy and Associates who are tilled "Rublic Kelaltons Specialists " This firm took the guidance of the travelers from our lale Sunday arrival until our departure at mid morning on Wednesday On Monday we had a la-autiful trip to Lake Tahoe where 10 inches of snow had fallen during the night making a lovely blue lake the center of a glorious winter wonderland After looking ii I mhi I the north and east shores where there are many jilush casinos and lovely homes, we went via Truckee, California, lo N e v a d a 's c a p ita l.
