M a rro w ( o u n O GENERAL RULES 1 Both residents and non residents of Morrow County are eligible to exhibit in open class 2 All 4 II. F F A and open class exhibits except livestock1 will he accepted on Tuesday from 4 8 p m Flowers will also be accepted from 8 10 a m Wednesday, August 14 Small animals will be accepted from 4 8 p in on Tuesday if prior arrangements are made with superintendent .1 The I air dors not assume an\ responsibility for damage or loss of proper!* or personal injurs, but. will exercise every effort to protect the exhibitor and the exhibitor s property 4 Farh exhibitor is responsible for listing all of his entries on a premium sheet Premium Sheets will lie available through each Superintendent on August 12 They will tie available through the County Extension Office in lleppner at 676 9842 or by contacting the Fair Office during Fair Each exhibitor must turn in his completed Premium Sheet at the Fair Office no later than 11 a m Wednesday August 14 Premiums will not be paid to rxhibilors who havr no* turned in their premium sheets 5 When there is unit one entry in a lot. first pluce will ho offerer! only if deemed worthy by the judge No sweepstakes will be awarded when there is no competition No animal or article deemed unworthy shall be awarded a premium fi No exhibit shall he turned away because there is not a class for it Additional lots will be made if three or more entries of the same type t Xhers w ill be combined into miscellaneous clases 7 The decision of the judge is final Exhibitors or the general public are not allowed to interfere with judges during the lime exhibits are being judged Persons doing so w ill forfeit their rights to premiums 8 Exhibits will be released from 2 ^ p m Sunday. August 18 Exhibits are not to be released until the superintendent is present to release exhibits 9 N O TH K VII premiums will be paid by check and mailed within III daxx after the fair In the past, premium checks were paid the last day of Fair, but with the new rule, all checks will be mailed to you after Fair and as soon as calculations are made 10 The I air management is not responsible for and will not re-issue lost prrm ium checks 11 When special premiums are offered by various individuals or organizations, the donors are responsible for the delivery of the prizes In the event there are insufficient funds to pay premiums in full, due to causes beyond the control of the management, the Fair reserves the right to pay proportionately with funds available 12 All boxes, wrappings and other materials brought in with exhibitors must be cleared away by the exhibitors before opening of the exhibition 'See schedule of events section > 13 All animals exhibited must lie the bonafide property of the exhibitor Animals must have been owned and kept in Morrow County at least 30 days prior to the time of entry Any animal showing symptoms of contagious or infectious disease may lx- required to tie removed from the grounds upon the order of a licensed veterinarian approved by the management No cattle will be permitted to enter the area unless under halter It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to keep his animal's i fed and watered Superintendents have the authority to withhold animals from judging if the owner does not prov ide care for his animals Straw will be furnished for each exhibitor Exhibitors must provide their own hav 14 I’ ile manure and waste in the specified manure tote bins, this includes all those exhibiting in the indoor arena and barns Manure and waste is to be piled by B a m each morning so that work crews can have the grounds cleaned before scheduled events of the day To improve herdsmanship. all livestock exhibitors will need a signed slip from their Superintendents stating that pens are clean, before receiving their premium checks NOTE:: Premium checks will be paid by check and mailed within M days of the fair DEPT. 1 BOOTHS Superintendent Kuth McCabe — Kegister all booths with Fair Secretary by August 3 '6789474) DIVISION 1 — COMMUNITY BOOTHS P R E M IU M S First ■ »15.
