April 16 w ith a 7 p m concert planned in the Hrppner High School gymn This y e jr no less than 12 school* are expected to attend with over 200 junior high band students to partici pate The top one third of each partici paling hand is selected for the select band The remaining students for the concert band The two hand* then spend all day rehearsing with their respective guest conductors After an intensive day of rrhearsing the two bands gather for a 7 p m concert In addition to the two bands performing seperatrly during the concert they also combine to per form a mass band This can be a real challenge when there are over 200 students in the mass band We would like to encourage ev ery one to attend this concert as the festival is hosted on a rotating basis and this will mark the first time it has been in lleppner for several v ears and mmt likelv w ill not return for several more years, said band teacher Don Christensen There will be a charge of $1 for adults and 5« cents for students to attend the concert This money goes to help pay for the guest conductors We hope to see all of you there concluded Christensen ^Electrolysis Thermolysis P erm anent H air Rem oval Anna Schwarzin.
