Unitary tax repeal
To the editor
I am writing in response to Kep
llelna Jones letter, that appeared in
thr Hillsboro Argus," about the
Oregon legislatures repeal of the
unitary method of tasation on mul
tmational corporations
This is something that should have
hren done years ago. perhaps Ore
gon would not be in such a desperate
state as we find it today Ms Jones
statement that "this will show the
world that Oregon is really open for
business" makes me chuckle This
effort is only a drop in in the bucket
at trying to revive Oregon from this
deep depression
There are many more things that
are needed to revive the State
Kidding us of LCDC is a prim ary one
along with all the taxes that moat
people do not realize are on the
books
What Oregon needs is a real
turnaround in political and econom
ic thought Please remember voters
that you can write in candidates on
the ballot and also remember that
the libertarians w ill be having a
write in campaign this year, watch

Consideration in the development of
this program are the preservation of

those tasks quickly, efficiently and
