Width overall width shall not exceed 2V 2. Length overall length shall not exceed 7" 3. Weight : Shall not exceed five ounces. No loose materials of any kind are permitted in the car. The car may be hollowed out and built to the maximum weight by the addition of wood or metal only, provided it is securely built into the body. 4. Wheel bearings: washers and bushings are prohibited. 5. Springing: The car shall not ride on any type of spring. 6. Details: Details such as steering wheel, decals, painting interior detail are permissible as long as these details do not exceed the maximum length, width and weight specifications. 7. Attachments: The car must be free wheeling with no starting device. 8. Inspection: Each car will be inspected by the superintendent. The superintendent has the right to disqualify any car that does not meet specifications. 9. Owner: Car may be raced by one owner. (May not be used by son and father both i. 10. Two cars will be raced at a time. Double elimination will he used. 11. This will be open to three different age groups: 1-10; 11-15; 16-100. 12. First, second and third prize for each group. Prize will also be given to the best finished and designed car in each group. 13. Cars are to be left at the fair on display and after entry to car race. DEPT. X. Open to all kinds of pets, one pet per child may be shown. Exhibitors will care for pets during show. SCHOOL EXHIBITS Participating schools: A.C. Houghton. Heppner. lone A space measuring 8 ft. across the front is allotted for each school. School is not to exceed that Imit and is encouraged not to overcrowd exhibit area in order that all items exhibited may be viewed easily. Each school is responsible for collecting items to be exhibited and preparing their school's exhibit at the fair.
