16. MC Leadline Haas Age five and under. (Entrant will be shown at a walk and
trot, led by an adult. Western saddle and bridle with leadline attached. Cannot cross
enter with the walk-trot class or western pleasure nine and under.)
17. MC Walk-trot class eight and under
Walk-trot class eight and under (No cross entry with nine and under pleasure
class, leadline or other children's performance class.)
18. MC Performance Ponies (Performance ponies up to 56" eligible. Must have a
western saddle and equipment. Judged on pony's performance at a walk, trot and
lope. Riders up to and including 12 years of age. Cannot cross enter with Leadline or
Walk trot classes.)
NOTE: Classes 16-18 to be judged during Halter classes 10-15
19. OPEN English Pleasure 17 and Under (To be shown at the walk, trot and canter.
Martingale prohibited. Judged on manners, performance, quality and suitability of
horse to rider. Light contact is recommended.)
20. OPEN English Pleasure 18 and over (To be shown at the walk, trot and canter
and hand gallop. To stand quietly and back readily. Martingale prohibited. Judged on
manners, performance, quality and suitability of horse to rider. Light contact is
recommended.)
ABOVE CLASSES: Any modification of hunt seat or saddle seat attire and tack
acceptable. Appointments not to be judged.
21. OPEN English Equitation 17 and Under
22. OPEN English Equitation 18 and Over (To be judged on the seat, hands,
performance of horse and rider and suitability of horse to rider. Back straight and
stand quietly. Any modification of hunt or saddle seat tack and attire acceptable.
Appointments not to be judged.)
23. OPEN Hunter Schooling Class All ages. Horses cannot be cross entered with
working hunter class. Course to be six cross-rail fences as posted. Can be taken at a
trot or a canter. To be judged on smoothness of execution. Horses to be penalized for
broken gait or being off course.
24. OPEN Working Hunter Class All ages; Six fences - maximum height 2Vi feet.
ABOVE CLASSES: Tack and attire of hunt seat type. Boots and hard hats required.
Tack and appointments not to be judged. To be judged on performance and manners,
with preference shown to horses covering the course with free-flowing strides, which
jump fences without interrupting rhythm, using proper form. Circling once upon
entering and once upon leaving is permissible. Any other circling is a disobedience.
Failure to follow course or third disobedience anywhere on course is an elimination,
as Is fall of horse and or rider. Patterns to be posted prior to show time.
25. MC Stock Seat EouiUtion 12 and under
26. OPEN Western Pleasure - Color all ages
Open to Albines, Appaloosas, Buckskins, Duns, Gruilas, Paints, Palominos, and
Plntoa; 14.1 hands and over. To be judged the same as western pleasure classes 52-37.
Attire and equipment requirements same as stated for classes 25-31.

suitability of horse to rider. To be Judged as a group at walk, trot, and canter both
directions of the ring. Horses to back readily and stand quietly. Western attire and
equipment required. No hackamore bits, wire curbs, or curb chains narrower than
4" permitted. Nosebands, tie downs or martingales prohibited.
32. MC Western Pleasure 12 and under

35. MC Western Pleasure 18 and over (x)

ABOVE CLASSES to be shown at a walk, Jog and lope both directions of the ring.
Judged on performance and manners. Morrow County riders wishing to compete
toward MC Senior Performance Horse Award must enter class 35 instead of age
group. Attire and equipment requirements same as stated for clases 25-31.
38. OPEN Western Command Class all ages
To enter the ring at a walk, trot of intermediate gait. This class is meant to be an
advanced pleasure class and the horse may be required to do anything the judge
commands. Emphasis shall be placed on the immediate responsiveness of the horse
and rider to the Judge's commands. Attire and equipment requirements same as
stated for classes 25-31.
39. MC Junior Reining Class four and under () Junior Performance Horse Points.
Bosal Hackamore or ring snaffle without shanks only. No nosebands, tie downs,
drawreins or martingales. Two hands permitted on reins.

The arena or plot should be approximately 50 x 150 feet in size. The Judge shall
indicate with markers on arena fence or wall the length of the pattern, markers within
the area of the pattern will not be used.
Ride pattern as follows:
1. to 2. Run with speed, past center marker.
2. Stop and back up to center of pattern.
3. Settle horse for approximately 10 seconds. SUrt lope to the right Figure eight
should be made inside the end markers.
4. and 5. Ride small Figure eight at a slow lope.
6. and 7. Ride a large Figure eight at a faster lope.
8. Left roll back over hocks (should le made past far end marker.)
9. Right roll back over hocks (should be made past near end marker.)
10. Stop, (should be made past center marker) let horse settle, and in approximate
area of stop, do the pivots
