"Most of the functions of the
Morrow County Clerk's Office
cannot be learned other than
by experience or thorough
knowledge of the Oregon Re
vised Statutes. My opponent's
campaign has stressed the
fact that she possesses an
accounting background. The
county accounting has not
been a function of the County
Clerk's Office for the last two
years, ii is now done oy a
County Accountant under the
direct supervision of the
County Court.
My goals have always been
to serve the public faithfully
and to the best of my ability,
and to create an atmosphere
that makes the public aware
that questions that can't be
answered elsewhere can be
brought to the Clerk's Office.

County benefit than to limit
one area in favor of another.
Areas showing growth should
be encouraged and helped, but
in such a manner as to com
pliment a total plan.

road improvements, both
existing and proposed, medi
cal care and facilities for the
county as a whole and the
north end in particular, and a
planned development for the
enticement of industry and
residents into the county."

the past 10 years as council
man and mayor of Boardman,

in an extreme growth period.
