fantastic twelve over 74;
Kevin Hughes improved four
strokes and shot an 88. Travis

Mustangs
Pirates 4-1
By TRAVIS HYATT
The Heppner Mustangs
dropped their record to 1-2
with a 4-1 loss to the Riverside
Pirates last Tuesday in River
side. Lack of hitting was the
problem for the Mustangs who
had only five hits. The Mus
tangs have only scored one
run in the last fourteen inn
ings. "I think it's too early in the
season to say there's been a let
down in our hitting. We're
capable of hitting the ball
better than we are now, but we
have a lo of young players and
it might just take some time,"
said Coach Mike Royer,
