Dance to live music at the Elks Lodge Sat. Stoddard and Longshore If you feel like dancing to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this Saturday, be sure to stop by the Heppner Elks' Lodge where the duo Stoddard and Longshore will be performing. Stoddard and Longshore, veterans of the music busi ness, both have enough credits on their own to prove their ability, Joe Stoddard has worked with surh big name artists as The Beach Boys. Pat Boone, lloyt Axton, Kick Nelson, Sons of the Pioneers, Pablo Cruise, Brenda Lee, B.J. Thomas, and many others. Larry Longshore began playing professionally during hi high school years. He received a college music scholarship and received a B.A. in Music in 1975. He has been performing steadily since then in the United States, Canada and Europe. The slides were taken during a trip to Ireland last summer. Kinzua to sponsor treat for kids A special treat for kids has been planned in conjunction with Saturday's St. Patrick's Day activities. Kinzua Corp. will sponsor a treasure hunt for preschoolers age tewo through five at the fair grounds from 3 to 4 p.m. The hunt will be held during a sheep dog demonstration at the fairgrounds.
