Annetta Padberg is recov ering at home from major surgery on an arm, performed at Hermiston. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robin son have returned home from a trip to Mt. Adams where they did some huckleberrying, and to Goldendale, Wash, where they visited relatives. Their granddaughters. Sharon Robinson and Donitta Sharp, accompanied them. Mrs. Charles Buchanan has returned home from Hillsboro where she took her daughter and grandson to their home after a two week visit. They all motored to Dufur to meet Trevor, a grandson, who had been to camp there. They also traveled to leavenworth. Wash, to meet a daughter, and return granddaughter Rachel to her home in Seattle, Wash. Sharella Wallace and child ren have moved into the Col leen Bergstrom house in Lex ington. Mrs. Stuart Dick (Julie) has returned home after a few days' stay in Pioneer Memo rial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Jones, and guests Mr. and Mrs. Ed ward Hudson, returned home Friday from a week at Depoe Bay. While away they visited Mr. and Mrs. Al Stdanley at Florence. She is Mr. Hudson's sister. They also visited Virgi nia Hudson, a sister-in-law. at Newport, and all visited Char lene Whitnev at Portland Lola Breeding of Irrigon is a patient in Consolidated Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermis ton. She is a former Lexington resident. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nel son were recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Beech at their home in Hood River. In skill level I, Benji Pear son of Heppner took a blue, first place award. Linda Mor- EJVLT.I class to be offered if interest shown An Emergency Medical Technician I class will b offered in Heppner this fall if enough community interest is shown, announced Betty Cur nutt, instructor. Anyone inte rested in taking the course should attend a meeting on Monday, Sept. 12, 7 p.m., in room seven at Heppner High School. The class must have a minimum enrollment of 12 to be conducted, she said.
